Normally, two and a half hours to four hours, but could take slightly longer. It depends upon the size of the home, ease of access, and the number of issues found.
No, it is not necessary to be present. Inspectors typically follow a routine to conduct the inspection. However, it is very helpful if you could arrive toward the end of the inspection to discuss the preliminary results with the inspector.
This shows that an inspection has been done by the seller and there are no major systems in need of immediate repair or replacement. And, there are no known safety hazards.
After you sign the inspection agreement, you will be invoiced and can pay online with a credit card/debit card, or through a bank transfer. You can also pay onsite at the time of the inspection.
Our typical return time is within 24 hours. Once finalized, it is emailed to you and if you would like, we can conduct a Zoom, FaceTime, or phone consultation to go over the entire report.
